Suleiman, Rima

Rima Suleiman

Lawrence J. Chastang Fellow

Rima Suleiman is the Lawrence J. Chastang Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a degree in Psychology with minors in both Political Science and English. She is a member of the Student Government Association as a Justice on the Judicial Branch and is a tutor at the University Writing Center. Her research interests include diplomacy, human rights and Middle Eastern Studies. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a degree in International Law or International Affairs. A student of Arabic and French, Suleiman has traveled to Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Turkey, France, Spain, Sweden, Italy and Tunisia, among other countries.

 
Berrios, Melissa

Melissa Berrios

Diplomacy Fellow

Melissa Berrios is the Diplomacy Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in European Studies and a certificate in Diplomacy. She is a member of Sigma Alpha Pi Fraternity and Chi Omega Fraternity. Her research interests include European history, politics and culture. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing masters in International Communication. A student of Spanish, French and Portuguese, Berrios has traveled to Chile, Argentina, Holland, Germany, Turkey, France and Italy.

 
Vasquez, Virginia

Virginia Vasquez

Francis Bok Human Trafficking Awareness Fellow

Virginia Vasquez is the Francis Bok Human Trafficking Awareness Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at The University of Central Florida pursuing a degree in Creative Writing, with a minor in French. She works as a student assistant at The Burnett Honors College and is the Vice President of Latin Rhythm at UCF. Her research interests include human trafficking, immigration policy and the rights of women and children. Upon graduation, Vasquez plans on pursuing graduate studies in writing, journalism or diplomacy. A native Spanish-speaker and a student of French, Vasquez has traveled to Canada, France, Spain and Chile.

 
Noor, Sehar

Sehar Noor

Sibille H. Pritchard Global Peace Fellow

Sehar Noor is the Sibille H. Pritchard Global Peace Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a senior at Rollins College pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics and International Affairs. She is a member of the Rollins Varsity Debate Team and has interned with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Islamabad. Her research interests include Central Asia, Pak-China relations and international development. A student of Arabic, Sehar is fluent in Urdu and Burushaski and has travelled to Pakistan, China and Cuba.

 
Ram, Christen

Christen Ram

Isle of Man Small Countries Fellow

Christen Ram is the Isle of Man Small Countries Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in International and Global Studies and Finance. She is a member of the Burnett Honors College as well as Honors Congress. Her research interests include human rights, diplomacy and terrorism studies. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a Master’s degree in international studies. A student of Spanish and Mandarin, Ram has lived in Guyana and traveled throughout Western Europe and the Caribbean.

 
Wood, Delani

Delani Wood

India Fellow

Delani Wood is the India Fellow for the India Center at UCF and the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in Political Science- International Relations with a minor in Writing. She is the Secretary of the UCF Astronomy Society and a frequent volunteer in the Central Florida area. Her interests include intelligence studies, post colonialism and technological advancements that not too long ago were only ideas within Science Fiction novels. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in international intelligence analysis. A student of Spanish and German, Wood has traveled all across the United States, with plans of backpacking internationally soon underway.

 
Hoffman, Logan

Logan Hoffman

Stephen Sloan Terrorism Studies Fellow

Logan Hoffman is the Stephen Sloan Terrorism Studies Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. He is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing degrees in Political Science and International and Global Studies, with a minor in Economics. He is a member of the Burnett Honors College and LEAD Scholars. His research interests include security studies and the Middle East. Upon graduation, he plans on pursuing a career in the Intelligence Community. A student of Arabic, Persian and Spanish, Hoffman has traveled to Canada and Nicaragua.
