Morgan, Hunter

Hunter Morgan

Intern

Hunter Morgan was a Summer 2016 intern for the Global Perspectives Office. He is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing undergraduate degrees in political science and English. He is a member of the Burnett Honors College and was the VP of Leadership at the Seminole State College Phi Theta Kappa chapter. His research interests include environmental policy, politics of Central and South America and political theory. Upon graduation he plans on pursuing a graduate degree in political theory. A student of Spanish, Morgan has traveled to Peru and Nicaragua.

 
Maier, Nicholas

Nicholas Maier

Intern

Nicholas Maier is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. He is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing degrees in Political Science and Environmental Engineering. He is a member of the Burnett Honors College and a research assistant at the UCF Microsensor Biofilm Research Lab. His research interests include global development, sustainability and economic policy. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue graduate studies. A student of German and Spanish, Maier has traveled throughout Europe and spent a semester studying Political Science outside of Hamburg, Germany.

 
Goolcharran, Natasha

Natasha Goolcharran

Intern

Natasha Goolcharran was a Summer 2016 intern for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a B.A. in International Relations and Global Studies with a minor in Asian Studies. She currently serves as the vice president for the Shree Marie Amma Devi Temple Cultural Center and has conducted a book drive for children at the Coalition for the Homeless. Her research interests include India, global poverty and human rights in underdeveloped countries. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue graduate studies in Global Affairs and seek employment with an international governmental organization or non-governmental organization. She has conversational skills in Spanish and is a student of Hindi and Tamil with plans to learn Italian. Goolcharran has traveled to Tortola, the British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Guyana. In her spare time she enjoys visiting Hindu temples throughout the U.S. and abroad.

 
Gill, Paul

Paul Gill

Intern

Paul Gill was a Summer 2016 intern for the Global Perspectives Office. He is a junior attending the University of Central Florida, and is pursuing an undergraduate degree in political science. He is working toward minors in diplomacy, economics and international & global studies. He is a member of the UCF Club on Security and Intelligence and is heavily involved with the Burnett Honors College. His research interests include East Asia, soft power and psychology. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue a Master of Science in Foreign Service: afterwards he would like to work for the U.S. Department of State.  He is currently studying Japanese and hopes to one day take part in the Japanese Exchange and Teaching Program. Gill has traveled to the Dominican Republic, France, Germany and Spain.

 
Field, Casey

Casey Field

Intern

Casey Margarite Field was a Summer 2016 intern for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a double major in Finance and Economics with a certificate in Leadership Studies. She is a member of the Order of Pegasus class of 2016, a recipient of the Clinton Global Initiative University Commitment to Action Award and former chair of the College of Business Student Ambassadors. Her research interests include inclusive finance, socially responsible investing and the European economic system. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing graduate school and further work in the field of inclusive finance, enabling women better access to the financial systems around the world. Field has traveled to Guatemala, the Dominican Republic and China.

 
Cibra, Vincenzo

Vincenzo Cibra

Intern

Vincenzo Cibra was a Summer 2016 intern for the Global Perspectives Office. He is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies, with a minor in Russian Studies. He is a member of The Burnett Honors College and plans to join the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. His research interests include global terrorism and relations between the U.S. and Russia. Upon graduation, he plans on pursuing graduate studies. Cibra is fluent in Italian and Spanish, and is currently learning Russian. He has traveled throughout Europe, Canada and Mexico.

 
Lisowski, Elizabeth

Elizabeth Lisowski

Senior Intern

Elizabeth Lisowski was a Summer 2016 senior intern for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a B.A. degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in French. She is a member of The Burnett Honors College and the Campus Emergency Response Team. Her research interests include human trafficking, psychology and Middle Eastern relations. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing graduate studies. A student of French, Lisowski has traveled throughout Western Europe, Morocco and Japan.
