Yerby, Nathaniel

Nathaniel Yerby

Lawrence J. Chastang Global Fellow

Nathaniel Yerby is the Spring 2018 Lawrence J. Chastang Global Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. He is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Public Administration, with a minor in History. He is a member of the Burnett Honors College and works as a legal intern at Coye Law Firm in Orlando. His research interests include the global migration crisis and the politics of Europe and Far East Asia. Upon graduation, he plans to attend law school. A student of Spanish and French, Yerby has traveled to the United Kingdom, Canada, Iceland and Nicaragua.

 
Morris, Jolene

Jolene Morris

Francis Bok Human Trafficking Awareness Fellow

Jolene Morris is the Spring 2018 Francis Bok Human Trafficking Awareness Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in Intelligence and National Security. She is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and is a Solid Rock United Church Outreach Volunteer. Her research interests include human trafficking, terrorism and women studies. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing either an international law degree or a position in the United Nations Junior Professional Officer Program.

 
Wolfarth-Solano, Allison

Allison Wolfarth-Solano

Lester N. Mandell Fellow

Allison Wolfarth-Solano is the Spring 2018 Lester N. Mandell Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in Intelligence and National Security. She is a member of The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) and International Exchange Alumni. Her research interests include immigration trends and patterns as well as international comparative politics. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing graduate studies in Political Science and to work within the educational and occupational exchange field to support the international community. A student of German, Wolfarth-Solano studied abroad in Germany and has traveled to France, the Netherlands, Cuba and Mexico.

 
Behr, Joseph

Joseph Behr

India Fellow

Joseph Behr is the Spring 2018 India Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. He is a Junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in Russian Studies. He is a member of the Russian Club and works at the United States Tennis Association. His research interests include international politics, causes of war and military strategy. Upon graduation, he plans on pursuing a full time job in the intelligence community. A student of Russian, Behr has traveled throughout Europe and East Asia.

 
Tann, Noa

Noa Tann

Sibille H. Pritchard Global Peace Fellow

Noa Tann is the Sibille H. Pritchard Global Peace Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at UCF pursuing a degree in International and Global Studies, with minors in Biology and Global Peace and Security Studies, as well as certificates in Intelligence and National Security and Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She is the Vice President of the United Nations Association at UCF, and the National Programs Coordinator for World for Refugees, a global nonprofit. Her research interests include U.S. intelligence and diplomacy, as well as global environmental conservation and the Middle East and North Africa region. Upon graduation, she plans on teaching English abroad before applying to both graduate school and the U.S. Foreign Service. A student of Arabic, Hebrew, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, Tann has most recently traveled to Israel to study Arabic.

 
Tang, Yihui

Yihui Tang

China-Taiwan Cross Strait Fellow

Yihui Tang is the Spring 2018 China-Taiwan Cross Strait Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in Diplomacy and a certificate in Intelligence and National Security. She is a member of the International Relations Club at UCF. Her research interests include peace studies in East Asia, diplomacy, immigration policy and international law. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a graduate degree with a focus in international affairs. Tang is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, and has traveled to Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Canada and throughout Europe. She hopes to work in the diplomatic field after she finishes her education.

 
Erickson, Stacy

Stacy Erickson

Alexandra Cousteau Environment and Global Climate Change Fellow

Stacy Erickson is the Spring 2018 Alexandra Cousteau Environment and Global Climate Change Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in Intelligence and National Security. She is a member of the International Relations Club and the United Nations Association. Her research interests include environmental change, Europe and developing areas. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a career as a Foreign Service Officer. A student of German and Swedish, Erickson has traveled to Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy and the United Kingdom.
