Alexandra Cousteau Environment and Global Climate Change Fellowship
The Global Perspectives Office at UCF and the Global Connections Foundation are pleased to provide an opportunity for an outstanding student from a Central Florida college or university, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as an Alexandra Cousteau Environment and Global Climate Change Fellow each Spring semester.
The selected student will work on a research project related to the environment and global climate change under the direction of staff and scholars at the UCF Global Perspectives Office. In addition, Cousteau Fellows will contribute to the activities of the Global Perspectives Office and affiliated programs.
The weekly time commitment is approximately 10 hours. Cousteau Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester. Students aspiring to become Cousteau Fellows should have a minimum GPA of 3.5. A board of reviewers drawn from UCF and the community will evaluate applications and make selections. A one-page cover letter, a 5-10 page writing sample, an unofficial transcript and a resume with two listed references are required.
