Diplomacy Fellowship

The Global Perspectives Office at UCF and the Global Connections Foundation will provide an opportunity for an outstanding UCF student, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as a Diplomacy Program Fellow.

The selected student will work on a research project related to diplomacy studies, under the direction of Global Perspectives Office staff and scholars, with the aim of producing a final paper that is worthy of publication. In addition, Diplomacy Program Fellows will contribute to the activities of the Global Perspectives Office and affiliated programs.

The weekly time commitment is approximately ten hours. Diplomacy Program Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester. Students aspiring to become Diplomacy Program Fellows should have a minimum GPA of 3.5. A board of reviewers drawn from UCF and the community will evaluate applications and make selections. Two letters of reference, a one-page personal statement, a 5-10 page writing sample, an unofficial transcript and a resume are required.
