The Isle of Man Small Countries Program Fellowship
The Global Perspectives Office at UCF and the Global Connections Foundation will provide an opportunity for an outstanding UCF student, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as an Isle of Man Small Countries Fellow.
The selected student will work on a research project related to small countries, under the direction of Global Perspectives Office staff and scholars, with the aim of producing a final paper that is worthy of publication. In addition, Isle of Man Small Countries Fellows will contribute to the activities of the Global Perspectives Office and affiliated programs.
The weekly time commitment is approximately ten hours. Isle of Man Small Countries Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester. Students aspiring to become Isle of Man Small Countries Fellows should have a minimum GPA of 3.5. A board of reviewers drawn from UCF and the community will evaluate applications and make selections. A one-page cover letter, a 5-10 page writing sample, an unofficial transcript and a resume with two listed references are required.
