Evelyn Tonn

Global Fellow

Evelyn Tonn is the Lawrence J. Chastang Global Fellow. She is a senior Political Science: International Relations Major in the Burnett Honors College. She is currently writing her Honors in the Major Thesis â??Globalization vs. Localization: A comparative global analysis of the attitudes of University Studentsâ? She was a recipient of the 2006 David L. Boren National Security Education Program Scholarship to study Arabic at the University of Jordan and has studied abroad at Cambridge University.

Baker, Oksana

Oksana Baker


Oksana Baker is an Intern for the Global Perspectives Office and the Diplomacy Program. She is a graduate of Rollins College, with a B. A. in International Affairs. She is a member of International Council of Central Florida and provides Russian language interpreting assistance. Born in Ukraine, she is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, and speaks some German. She is an Anil Deshpande Award recipient. She traveled to Russia, Moldova, Poland, Check Republic, United Kingdom, and the U. A. E.

Freid, Samantha

Samantha Freid


Samantha Freid is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office and the Diplomacy Program. She graduated from Lake Highland Prep in 2005. Samantha attended the University of Massachusetts/Amherst for the 2005-2006 school year. She is currently a sophomore at the University of Central Florida, and is pursuing a B.A. in Print Journalism.
