Adrien, Thierry

Thierry Adrien

Intern

Thierry Adrien is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. He is a junior at University of Central Florida pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International and Global Studies and Economics. He is a member of STAND and the International Relations Club. His research interests include mass atrocity, economic soft power and terrorism. Upon graduation, he plans on pursuing a master’s degree and a career with the Foreign Service. A student of Mandarin and French, Adrien has traveled to Haiti, with plans on travelling internationally.

 
Kipersztok, Hannah

Hannah Kipersztok

Intern

Hannah Kipersztok is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a degree in International Relations with a minor in Mass Communication. She is a member of Knights for Israel and She’s the First clubs on campus. Her research interests include global terrorism and Israel/Palestine relations. After graduation, she plans on pursuing a graduate degree in either Middle Eastern studies or mass communication. Hannah hopes to learn Arabic during her time at UCF and has traveled to Israel, Brazil, Nicaragua and Mexico. She plans on studying abroad in Canberra, Australia in the fall semester.

 
Lee, Allison

Allison Lee

Intern

Allison Lee is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at UCF pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in Asian Studies. She is a member of the Japanese Culture Club and the Burnett Honors College. Her research interests include East Asia, human rights and diplomacy. Upon graduation, she plans on teaching English abroad before going on to pursue a master’s degree in International Relations. A student of Japanese, Lee has traveled to Japan, France, Spain, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

 
Lisowski, Elizabeth

Elizabeth Lisowski

Intern

Elizabeth Lisowski is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a B.A. degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in French. She is a member of The Burnett Honors College and the Campus Emergency Response Team. Her research interests include human trafficking, psychology and Middle Eastern relations. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing graduate studies. A student of French, Lisowski has traveled throughout Western Europe, Morocco and Japan.

 
Wintzer, Lubba

Lubba Wintzer

Intern

Lubba Wintzer is an intern for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at University of Central Florida pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International and Global Studies with minors in European Studies and Middle Eastern Studies. She is a member of Knights of the Round Table and the International Relations Club. Her research interests include relations between Russia and the Middle East, and the relationship between Israel and surrounding Arabic states. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a Master’s degree. Wintzer is fluent in Russian, German and French, and is currently learning Hebrew. She has travelled to Europe, Africa, Russia, Malaysia and Singapore.

 

 
Mumtaz, Hania

Hania Mumtaz

Lawrence J. Chastang Fellow

Hania Mumtaz was the Lawrence J. Chastang Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences, with a minor in Diplomacy. She is a member of the pre-med American Medical Student Association and was previously a UCF Surgical Intern with the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences. Her research interests include the effects of globalization on the pharmaceutical industries of developing nations as well as the relation between globalization and loss of cultural diversity. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in medicine and international relations. A student of Urdu, Mumtaz has traveled across Europe and Asia, including places like Morocco, Turkey and Pakistan.

 

 
Rodriguez, Erick

Erick Rodriguez

Francis Bok Human Trafficking Awareness Fellow

Erick Raul Rodriguez was the Francis Bok Human Trafficking Awareness Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. He is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing degrees in Political Science and International and Global Studies, with a minor in Diplomacy. He is a member of the Burnett Honors College and Treasurer of the Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha. His research interests include counterterrorism, cyberwarfare and international law. Upon graduation, he plans on pursuing a Juris Doctor degree after completing law school. A student of Spanish, Rodriguez has traveled to Canada and throughout Europe and the Caribbean.
