Miller, Kaitlin

Kaitlin Miller

India Fellow

Kaitlin Miller is the Spring 2019 India Fellow for Global Perspectives. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, with a minor in Leadership Studies. She is a member of Tau Sigma National Honor Society and the UCF Student Conduct Board. Her research interests include diplomacy, political theory, and terror groups. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a Masters in Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Public Affairs. Miller has traveled extensively throughout the United States.

 
Klonowski, Hannah

Hannah Klonowski

China-Taiwan Cross Strait Fellow

Hannah Klonowski is the Spring 2019 China-Taiwan Cross Strait Fellow for Global Perspectives. She is a junior at UCF pursuing an undergraduate degree in International and Global Studies, with minors in Diplomacy and French and a certificate in Intelligence and National Security. She is the Treasurer of the International Relations Club and a tutor for UCF’s Academic Services for Student Athletes. Her research interests include diplomatic relationships in East Asia, the influence of trade on diplomacy, and electoral processes around the world.  Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in the intelligence community.  A student of French, Klonowski has traveled to France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

 
Pierres, Renzo

Renzo Pierres

Sibille H. Pritchard Global Peace Fellow

Renzo Pierres is the Spring 2019 Sibille H. Pritchard Global Peace Fellow for Global Perspectives. He is a Senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an Undergraduate degree in the International Relations track of Political Science with a Diplomacy Certificate. He is also a student of the Burnett’s Honors College and is writing his undergraduate thesis on terrorist leadership decapitation. Upon graduation, Renzo plans on pursuing a master’s in political science with a focus on terrorism studies. Renzo is fluent in both English and Spanish, and he loves to travel and meet people from different cultures.

 
Reedy, Erin

Erin Reedy

Francis Bok Human Trafficking Awareness Fellow

Erin Reedy is the Spring 2019 Francis Bok Human Trafficking Awareness Fellow for Global Perspectives. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in Political Science, focusing on International Relations, with a minor in Intelligence and National Security and a certificate in Diplomacy. She is the vice president of Pi Sigma Alpha and a member of the Burnett Honors College. Her research interests include global peace and security, Islamic terrorism, and the refugee crisis. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in the Department of State. A student of Arabic, Reedy has traveled throughout Europe.

 
Garcia, Nalani

Nalani Garcia

Isle of Man Small Countries Fellow

Nalani Garcia is the Spring 2019 Isle of Man Small Countries Program Fellow for Global Perspectives. She is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International and Global Studies, with minors in Latin American Studies and Intelligence and National Security. She is a member of the Burnett Honors College and is the secretary of the Club on Security and Intelligence. Her research interests include Latin America and international relations. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in intelligence. A student of Spanish, Garcia has traveled to the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Costa Rica.

 
Edwards, Aldyn

Aldyn Edwards

Lester N. Mandell Diplomacy Fellow

Aldyn Edwards is the Spring 2019 Lester N. Mandell Diplomacy Fellow for Global Perspectives. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in Political Science, with a minor in Intelligence and National Security. She is involved with the Global Leadership program here at UCF and was the Global Perspectives India Fellow in Fall 2018. Her research interests include diplomacy, U.S. intelligence, and national security. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing graduate studies in Political Science. Aldyn is proficient in American Sign Language, and has travelled extensively throughout the United States, with travel to Canada and Mexico.

John Heinbockel

Alexandra Cousteau Environment and Global Climate Change Fellow

John Heinbockel is the Spring 2019 Alexandra Cousteau Environmental and Global Climate Change Fellow for Global Perspectives. He is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a degree in International and Global Studies with a minor in World Comparative Studies. His research interests include global development and climate change. Upon graduation, he plans on pursuing a graduate degree. A student of English, Heinbockel has traveled to Western Europe and Ethiopia.
