Jaayfer, Oumaima

Oumaima Jaayfer

Intern, Environment and Global Climate Change

Oumaima Jaayfer is an intern for the Office of Global Perspectives. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a B.A degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics. She is a student of the Burnett’s Honors College and writing her undergraduate thesis on welfare policy analysis. Her research interests include Comparative Politics, International Relations, and Political Theory. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a graduate degree in Political Science. Born in Morocco, Jaayfer is fluent in Arabic and proficient in French.

 
Moya, Paula

Paula Moya

Intern, Central and South America including Caribbean

Paula Moya is an intern for the Office of Global Perspectives. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International and Global Studies, with minors in Latin American Studies and Diversity and Social Inequality and a certificate in Intelligence and National Security. She is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha. Her research interests include Latin America, the global economy and human trafficking. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in the Department of State. A native Spanish speaker and student of French, Moya has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, Colombia, the Caribbean, Europe and Israel.

 
Skillings, Sean

Sean Skillings

Intern, Global Peace and Security

Sean Skillings is an intern for the Office of Global Perspectives. He is a senior at UCF pursuing a degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in Russian Studies. He is a member of the Russian Club at UCF and previously held the role of Secretary for the club. His research interests include the politics of Russia and the Eastern European region, as well as issues regarding LGBT rights in Eastern Europe. Upon graduation, he plans on pursuing a master’s degree in Political Science. A student of Russian and German, Skillings has participated in the STARTALK program at UCF.

 
Dubey, Aditi

Aditi Dubey

Intern, Asia including Asia Pacific

Aditi Dubey is a high school intern for the Office of Global Perspectives. She is currently a rising senior enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program at Seminole High School. She is a member of The Science National Honors Society and Business Professionals of America at her high school. Her research interests include terrorism, diplomacy, and global peace. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing patent law.

Athalya Ajisafe

Intern, Africa

Athalya Ajisafe is a high school intern for the Office of Global Perspectives. She is a rising senior at University High School. She is a member of UNICEF club and the International Baccalaureate organization. Her research interests include diplomacy and Sub-Saharan Africa. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a degree in political science or law.
