Intern, Environment and Global Climate Change
Oumaima Jaayfer is an intern for the Office of Global Perspectives. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a B.A degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics. She is a student of the Burnett’s Honors College and is writing her undergraduate thesis on welfare policy analysis. Her research interests include Comparative Politics, International Relations and Political Theory. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a graduate degree in Political Science. Born in Morocco, Jaayfer is fluent in Arabic and proficient in French.
Intern, Central and South America
Paula Moya is an intern for the Office of Global Perspectives. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International and Global Studies, with minors in Latin American Studies and Diversity and Social Inequality and a certificate in Intelligence and National Security. She is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha. Her research interests include Latin America, the global economy and human trafficking. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in the Department of State. A native Spanish speaker and student of French, Moya has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, Colombia, the Caribbean, Europe and Israel.
Athalya "Lee" Ajisafe
High School Intern, Africa
Lee Ajisafe is a high school intern for the Office of Global Perspectives. Ajisafe is a rising senior at University High School, and a member of UNICEF club and the International Baccalaureate organization. Research interests include diplomacy and Sub-Saharan Africa. Upon graduation, Ajisafe plans on pursuing a degree in political science or law.
High School Intern, Asia
Aditi Dubey is a high school intern for the Office of Global Perspectives. She is currently a rising senior enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program at Seminole High School. She is a member of The Science National Honors Society and Business Professionals of America at her high school. Her research interests include terrorism, diplomacy and global peace. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing patent law.
