Biography

Alyona Loguntsova is the Spring 2023 Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery intern for the Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives. She is a senior at the University of Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in English for Technical Communication with a certificate in Editing & Publishing. Loguntsova is a member of Paving the Way Foundation as a researcher and blog writer. Her research interests include online exploitation, human trafficking awareness, and prevention. Upon graduation, she plans to do a tour of southern Europe before pursuing a career in technical writing and nonprofit work. A student of English and Russian, Loguntsova moved to the United States from Russia, and has traveled to Germany and France.
