Hanna Begun is the Fall 2022 Terrorism Studies Intern for the Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives. She is a Senior at UCF’s School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs pursuing an undergraduate degree in International and Global Studies with minors in Business Administration and Diplomacy.
Begun is a member of Florida’s Public Interest Research Group (PIRG) and the Women’s Network at UCF. Her research interests include U.S. foreign policy and relations in East Asia and U.S. diplomatic ties with ally countries. Upon graduation, she plans on furthering her education by applying to graduate school to earn a master’s in global affairs. This student has a professional working fluency of Spanish and is familiar with Korean. Begun has traveled to South Korea and Japan multiple times to see family and has plans this summer to visit Israel.
