Ambassador Eric. S Edelman

Managing Turmoil in the Middle East

Ambassador Eric S. Edelman co-chairs the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Task Force on Managing Disorder in the Middle East. He also is currently a Roger Hertog Practitioner in Residence at Johns Hopkins SAIS and Counselor at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments. Edelman served as U.S. Ambassador to Turkey and Finland during the Clinton and Bush administrations. He retired as a career minister from the U.S. Foreign Service on May 1, 2009.

The Florida International Summit is the annual, signature event of the Florida Network for Global Studies (FNGS). This year’s event will shed light onto modern day slavery and human trafficking taking place both internationally and locally. Audience members will hear from law enforcement and academic specialists, community organizations and keynote speaker. Guests are also invited to participate in Q&As.
