Biography
Brandon Garrett is the Fall 2025 Puerto Rico Research Hub Intern for the Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives. He is a Senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in Global Peace and Security. Garrett is a member of UCF Model United Nations and a volunteer with Maxwell Frost for Congress. His research interests include Latin America, U.S. foreign policy, and Middle Eastern politics. Upon graduation, he plans on joining the State Department as a Foreign Service Officer. A student of Spanish and English, Garrett has traveled throughout the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Ecuador.
