“Addressing the Unique Challenges of Small Countries”
The Isle of Man Small Countries Program, housed in the Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives (GPII), is a cooperative undertaking with the UCF School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs and the Small Countries Financial Management Centre (SCFMC) on the Isle of Man. Established in 2011, it sponsors or co-sponsors public discussions featuring top speakers, panels and other presentations; encourages scholarship and research; and works with partners worldwide. The program seeks to build upon and complement the vision of the SCFMC in underscoring and addressing the unique challenges of small countries, with a special focus on the Caribbean. It promotes awareness and discussion about security, political, economic, social and environmental issues.
