Biography

Camila Gimenez Valero is the Fall 2025 Terrorism Studies Intern for the Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in Latin American studies. Camila is also an undergraduate researcher, currently working on her honors thesis surrounding the Venezuelan oil industry and a flamenco dancer for Flamenco del Su Orlando. Her research interests include Latin America, colonized nations, and women’s issues. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a doctorate in Political Science, and becoming a professor.
