Christian Duran is the Summer 2020 Human Trafficking and Human Rights Intern for the Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives. He is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in International and Global Studies with a minor in Diversity and Social Inequality. Duran is the treasurer of the International Relation Club at UCF and an employee at UCF’s Student Union. His research interests include developing area, human rights, and queer studies. Upon graduation, he plans on joining the Peace Corps. A student of Spanish, Duran has traveled throughout the United States.
