Omelia Dhanraj is the Summer 2020 Asian Affairs Senior Intern for the Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a undergraduate degree in Psychology, with a minor in Human Services. Dhanraj is a member of the Burnett Honors College and a tutor for Orange County Public Schools. Her research interests include mental health, cultural values, and human rights. Upon graduation, she will begin the Masters in Clinical Psychology program at the University of Central Florida in the Fall of 2020. A student of English, Dhanraj has traveled to Guyana, Canada, Turks and Caicos, and along the east coast of the United States.
