Biography

Victoria Leiva Gonzalez is the Spring 2026 Diplomacy Intern for the Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives. She is a Junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in Political Science, with a minor in International Relations and Diplomacy. Gonzalez is a member of the Student Government Association as the Senator for the College of Sciences and a member of the International Relations Club. Her research interests include international human rights law, immigration policy and educational equity. Upon graduation, she plans on achieving her master’s degree in Public Administration and later serving in the State Department as a Foreign Service Officer. A student of English and Spanish, Gonzalez has traveled to Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and across the United States.
