FAQs

How is COVID-19 affecting internships and fellowships?

Internships and fellowships are limited for Spring and Summer 2021. We are now accepting applications for Fall 2021 and will offer further guidance on these opportunities as more information becomes available.

When are the application deadlines?

Fall 2021 – August 6th by noon.

How do I apply?
Online Application
I submitted my application. Now what?

We review all applications after the application deadline. Applicants who are selected will be contacted to schedule in-person or Zoom interviews for the week following the application deadline. We notify all applicants of their application status no later than two weeks after the application deadline. We will not proceed with an application in case the applicant cannot be reached.

What is the difference between an internship and a fellowship?

Although the job duties might be similar, fellows tend to have additional responsibilities. Fellowships have a semester stipend.

Do you accept graduate students?

Graduate students are welcome to apply. Applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Generally, Ph.D. students are not considered unless an internship is a requirement for their degree program.

Do you accept non-UCF students?

Yes. An opportunity for a non-UCF student is only available for the summer term. Internships are available to actively enrolled, non-UCF students who meet the eligibility requirements. This is extended to high school students, college students, and students at other institutions. Some fellowships are also available to non-UCF students. Please check the requirements under the ELIGIBILITY section on this page.

Do you accept international students?

Yes. Students have to be actively enrolled and meet the eligibility requirements.

What if I still have questions?
