The Lawrence J. Chastang Global Fellowship

The Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives (GPII) at UCF will provide an opportunity each fall and spring semester for an outstanding UCF student, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as a Chastang Fellow. The selected student will conduct research related to the broad area of globalization under the direction of GPII staff. In addition, Chastang Fellows will contribute to the activities of GPII and affiliated programs. Chastang Fellows will receive a $1,000.00 fellowship for the semester.

 

The India Fellowship

The India Center at UCF and the Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives (GPII) will provide an opportunity each fall and spring semester for an outstanding UCF student, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as an India Fellow. The selected student will conduct research related to India under the direction of GPII staff. In addition, India Fellows will contribute to the activities of the India Center, GPII and affiliated programs. The India Fellow will receive $500.00 for the semester.

 

The Francis Bok Human Trafficking Awareness Fellowship

The Center for the Study of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery at UCF and the Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives (GPII), with support from the Human Trafficking Awareness Fund and the late David Boone, will provide an opportunity each fall and spring semester for an outstanding undergraduate student (at least junior level) or graduate student from UCF to serve as a Francis Bok Human Trafficking Awareness Fellow. The selected student will conduct research related to human trafficking and modern slavery under the direction of GPII staff. In addition, Bok fellows will contribute to the activities of GPII and affiliated programs. Bok fellows will receive $750.00 for the semester.

 

The Stephen Sloan Terrorism Studies Fellowship

The Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives (GPII) at UCF will provide an opportunity each fall semester for an outstanding UCF student, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as a Stephen Sloan Terrorism Studies Fellow. The selected student will conduct research related to terrorism studies under the direction of GPII staff. In addition, Sloan Fellows will contribute to the activities of the GPII and affiliated programs. Sloan Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester.

 

The Lester N. Mandell Diplomacy Fellowship

The Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives (GPII) at UCF, with support from the Lester N. Mandell Endowed Distinguished Lecture Series, will provide an opportunity each fall and spring semester for an outstanding UCF student, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as a Lester N. Mandell Diplomacy Fellow. The selected student will conduct research related to diplomacy studies under the direction of GPII staff. In addition, Mandell Fellows will contribute to the activities of the GPII and affiliated programs. Mandell Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester.

 

The Sustainability Fellowship

The Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives (GPII) at UCF will provide an opportunity each fall and spring semester for an outstanding student from a Central Florida college or university, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as the Sustainability Fellow. The selected student will conduct research related to the environment and global climate change under the direction of GPII staff. In addition, Sustainability Fellows will contribute to the activities of the GPII and affiliated programs. Sustainability Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester.

 

The African Affairs Fellowship

The Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives (GPII) at UCF will provide an opportunity each fall and spring semester for an outstanding undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate student from a Central Florida college or university to serve as a African Affairs Fellow.  The selected student will conduct research related to African affairs under the direction of GPII staff. In addition, African Affairs Fellows will contribute to the activities of GPII and affiliated programs. Mandela Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester.

 

The European Studies Fellowship

The Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives (GPII) at UCF, the European Studies Program and the School of Politics, Security and International Affairs will provide an opportunity each fall and spring semester for an outstanding UCF student, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as a European Studies Fellow. The selected student will conduct research related to European studies under the direction of GPII staff. In addition, European Studies Fellows will contribute to the activities of GPII and affiliated programs. European Studies Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester.

 

The Latin American Studies Fellowship

The Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives (GPII) at UCF, will provide an opportunity each fall and spring semester for an outstanding UCF student, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as a Latin American Studies Fellow. The selected student will conduct research related to Latin American studies under the direction of GPII staff. In addition, Latin American Studies Fellows will contribute to the activities of GPII and affiliated programs. Latin American Studies Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester.

 

The Asian Studies Fellowship

The Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives (GPII) at UCF, will provide an opportunity each fall and spring semester for an outstanding UCF student, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as a Asian Studies Fellow. The selected student will conduct research related to Asian studies under the direction of GPII staff. In addition, Asian Studies Fellows will contribute to the activities of GPII and affiliated programs. Asian Studies Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester.
