Laura Moeller

Sibille H. Pritchard Global Peace Fellow

Laura Moeller is the Fall 2016 Sibille H. Pritchard Global Peace Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a second-year PhD student at the University of Central Florida pursuing a doctoral degree in Texts and Technology. She is a member of the Rhetoric Society of America and teaches composition at the Department of Writing and Rhetoric. Her research interests include digital rhetoric, service learning and activist scholarship. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in higher education. A bilingual international student from Germany, Laura has traveled throughout Australia, Europe and the United States.

 
Tang, Yihui

Yihui Tang

Lester N. Mandell Diplomacy Fellow

Yihui Tang is the Fall 2016 Lester N. Mandell Diplomacy Fellow for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a junior at the University of Central Florida pursuing an undergraduate degree in International and Global Studies, with a minor in Diplomacy. Her research interests include diplomacy, immigration policy and international law. Upon graduation, she plans to further her education by pursuing a graduate degree with a focus in international affairs. Tang is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, and has traveled to the United Arab Emirates and throughout Europe. She hopes to work in the diplomatic field after she finishes her education.

 
Ard, Sara Lynn

Sara Lynn Ard

David Boone Human Trafficking Awareness Scholar

Sara L. Ard is the Fall 2016 David Boone Human Trafficking Awareness Scholar for the Global Perspectives Office. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Legal Studies, with a minor in Sociology. She is a member of the International Justice Mission, Greater Orlando Human Trafficking Task Force and The Clinton Global Initiative University. Her research interests include human trafficking, counterterrorism and the rights of women and children. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a master’s degree in a field related to global affairs. A student of English decent, Ard has traveled throughout the U.S. as well as to Honduras.
